The pair, who played Jack Black’s talented students, married nearly 22 years after the film was released
No, the happy couple are not Jack Black and Joan Cusack—both of whom are, luckily, still married to their respective spouses. The bride, Caitlin Hale, played cute blonde backup vocalist Marta, while the groom, Angelo Massagli, played tough guy Frankie. They wed right after New Year, prompting a spontaneous School of Rock reunion.

School of Rock stars who attended the wedding include Brian Falduto (Billy), Joey Gaydos Jr (Zack)., Robert Tsai (Lawrence), Rivkah Reyes (Katie), Maryam Hassan (Tomika), Aleisha Allen (Alicia), and Cole Hawkins (Leonard).
Black couldn't attend due to previous work commitments but sent a heartfelt video instead.
The pair have been dating since 2016 and announced their engagement in October 2024. Hale is currently an OB-GYN sonographer, while Massagli has a law degree and works for TikTok, according to his LinkedIn.
