Marking its 25th anniversary, Paragon unveils a season of tributes, exhibitions and luxury experiences—from the 25 for 25: Paragons of Excellence Exhibition to the Ferragamo Vara debut
This year, Paragon turns 25—a milestone that sees the Orchard Road landmark affirm its place not simply as a luxury mall, but as a cultural and style institution in its own right. Over the past quarter-century, Paragon has been more than a shopping destination: it has been a stage for ideas, craftsmanship and the kind of experiences that define modern luxury in Singapore.
At the centre of its jubilee celebrations is the ’25 for 25: Paragons of Excellence Exhibition’, a showcase of individuals whose vision and creativity echo Paragon’s own story of style and innovation. Set against a mirrored, metallic landscape designed as an immersive “cave”, the exhibition groups its honourees into three categories: Innovators, Creators and Muses. The Innovators include second- and third-generation leaders such as Jeremy Lim of Cortina Watch and Douglas Benjamin of FJ Benjamin, while the Creators spotlight entrepreneurial artisans like Janice Wong and Daniel Tay of Old Seng Choong. Completing the line-up are the Muses—tastemakers and cultural voices such as Wendy Long, Rebecca Eu and Grace Kee.

It is in this spirit of celebrating excellence that Tatler Singapore partners Paragon for the occasion, bringing into the spotlight Tatler Asia’s Most Stylish honourees 2025. Their presence ties the values of creativity, influence and personal expression to Paragon’s vision of luxury for a new generation.
Complementing the exhibition is another first: the Ferragamo Vara Exhibit. Debuting globally at Paragon, it pays tribute to the Vara shoe—a design that has embodied “Femininity Ferragamo” since 1978. On display are historic designs by founder Salvatore Ferragamo, including the rainbow wedge for Judy Garland and the invisible sandal that once won the Neiman Marcus Award, alongside the Vara itself and its contemporary reinterpretations. Visitors will also witness the craft behind the legend, as an artisan from Florence demonstrates the shoemaking process in person.

The celebrations extend beyond exhibitions. On September 10, Paragon hosted an anniversary cocktail at the atrium, where harpist Christabelle Sheum and jazz singer Alemay Fernandez performed. Though intimate in scale, the performances attracted shoppers from all over the mall—a reminder that Paragon’s celebrations are for the community as much as its invited guests.
The mall also continues to look ahead. New duplex flagship stores for Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, Tom Ford and soon Prada anchor its retail offering, joined by Maison Margiela, Zimmermann and Tomacado. November will bring the unveiling of a refreshed Paragon Club loyalty programme and a redesigned lounge, enhancing the privileges of its most dedicated members.
As Jaylyn Ong, managing director of Straits Retail Property Management Services, says: “Marking 25 years is a proud milestone of excellence for Paragon. Over the past quarter-century, we have grown beyond a luxury shopping mall into a destination where brands thrive, ideas come alive, and generations of shoppers have created memories.”
Paragon at 25 is both a celebration of heritage and a gesture to the future—where craftsmanship, creativity and style continue to converge under one roof.
