Get your popcorn ready for a season of epic movie marathons, as Netflix has announced dates for 42 new original movies slated for the rest of the year
With just over four months of 2021 to go, Netflix has unveiled its full lineup of original movies making its way to screens this fall. The streaming giant will release a whopping 42 movies throughout the rest of the year, with new films added to its library every week to delight its fans, and the line-up is star-studded.
Some standouts include Adam McKay’s dark comedy Don’t Look Up, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio; Red Notice, an action thriller starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds; as well as the crime horror movie Army of Thieves, the prequel to Army of the Dead.
Also on Netflix’s calendar is a selection of new holiday titles, including the third instalment of their beloved Christmas original The Princess Switch, A Castle For Christmas, and Love Hard which will arrive sometime in November and December, just in time for the holidays.
