There are plenty of new experiences to be excited about during the $1.7 billion shopping mall's opening this week

Everyone is flocking to the much anticipated Jewel Changi Airport this week as it opens its doors to the first members of public. And so are we; our intimate Tatler Fashion Awards celebrations will be held at the complex as well.

So what is there to see at this ten-storey megamall? Lots.

From Singapore's first Shake Shack and the return of A&W after 15 years to the first Pokémon Center outside of Japan—which will offer merchandise exclusive to Singapore—there is just so much to explore in this complex that holds over 280 shops.

And what else is new? Here are seven brands with concept stores or merchandise that are exclusive to Jewel Changi Airport.

There's also a lab that offers T-shirt printing and shoe customisation services to make them truly yours.

2. Tiger Street Lab, #05-205

WHAT'S NEW

The homegrown brewery's concept store will not only be the first in Singapore, but also in the world. The outlet will offer a seasonal range of beers and exclusive merchandise—such as the Tiger Orchid-infused Black Lager, inspired by Singapore's national flower—on top of Tiger's well-loved range of beers. For the latter, we spotted some gorgeous streetwear designed by Amos Ananda Yeo and Mina Kwon.

An F&B concept also offers a menu of Singapore's street food in collaboration with local hawkers. Profits from the beer go towards the Tiger Street Food Support Fund, which aims to promote and support our vibrant hawker culture. Keng Eng Kee Seafood kickstarts this concept with a six-month partnership, offering signature bites to pair with a pint or two.

Want a souvenir? Nothing oozes with local flavour like a Jewel-edition Tiger Beer printed with your name on the bottle.

If you enjoy the creaminess of a nitro brew, Starbucks Jewel is only the second in Asia to boast a four-tap Nitro, offering a menu of cold brew coffee and tea beverages like the Nitro Flat White or Nitro Green Tea Latte.

The outlet also takes the opportunity to add a local touch to the menu, with Jewel-exclusive dishes like Hainanese Chicken Rice Quinoa Salad, Satay Chicken Ciabatta and Milo Tiramisu, or Affogato with Udders ice cream that are freshly prepared. There are also unique merchandise from coffee brewing accessories to lifestyle items, only available at the flagship store.

Don't miss a picture with the Starbucks Siren, which extends over two levels of the store. The beautiful mural is a special-commissioned piece, painstakingly hand-chiseled by designer and artist Sean Dunston over two months—definitely Instagram material.
