Six Filipino athletes including Manny Pacquiao will represent the Philippines in ‘Physical: Asia’ on Netflix
Netflix’s Physical: Asia marks the first nation-versus-nation showdown in the hit competition franchise. In it, elite athletes from eight nations go head-to-head in a series of extreme sports challenges and traditional games.
Competing alongside the Philippines are teams from Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Thailand and Türkiye. Each country is anchored by a national superstar “who embodies the competitive spirit of their homeland,” according to Netflix. For the Philippines, the six-person roster blends icons and rising forces in sport—led by no less than Manny Pacquiao.
