Pride Month is here; we’re waving our flags and feeling excited about what Hong Kong has in store in June—from draglicious brunches to performances by queer artists with disabilities
Pride Month is here, and with it comes a full calendar of events celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. From drag brunches and tie-dye rainbow cupcakes to film screenings and weekend markets, there are plenty of ways to celebrate in Hong Kong. Whether you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, June is a time to show up and be loud, proud and unapologetically yourself; there’s no such thing as being “too extra.” Tatler has compiled a list of the best and most inclusive events and happenings across the city.

Draglicious Pride Brunch at Cruise Restaurant & Bar
When: June 21, 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm
Where: Cruise Restaurant & Bar, 23/F, 1 North Point Estate Lane, North Point, Hong Kong
What: Round up your brunch besties because Hyatt Centric’s Cruise Restaurant and Bar is hosting its legendary annual Dragalicious Pride brunch. This all-you-can-eat brunch has more than 20 decadent dishes to choose from, including signatures such as beef short rib Gaeng Om Isan-style curry. You can also vibe to live DJ sets and enjoy performances by local drag queens such as Pansze Diva, Coco Pop and Emma Ohrey. Did we mention that the brunch has free-flowing alcohol? Now that is “fierce”! Also, don’t forget to check out the Rainbow Pool Wall at the hotel’s rooftop infinity pool and the Art Centric x PrideLab exhibition on the second floor, featuring murals, comics and photo stories by local artists.

What: Laughter is the best medicine, so why not get your dose of it at The Aftermath’s stand-up Pride Month Comedy Spectacular, starring some of Hong Kong’s funniest LGBTQ+ comedians. Expect sharp punchlines, quick wit and a whole lot of queer joy as local favourites such as Kari Gunnarson, Rose Rage, Jess Ng and more take the mic.
Pride Month sweet treats at Baking Maniac

Where: Baking Maniac pop-up, kiosk A, 1/F, Lincoln House, Taikoo Place, King’s Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong
What: Renowned for its high-quality sweet treats, pastry shop Baking Maniac is sure to make this month’s celebrations sweeter. Its Pride Month collection features a colourful line-up of rainbow treats. Get your hands on the tie-dye rainbow cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream and confetti sprinkles, or dig into the pride-flag-inspired heart-shaped “Love is Love” cookies. And there is always room for mini rainbow doughnuts.
Eaton HK Pride Month events
When: June and July 2025
Where: Eaton HK, 380 Nathan Road, Jordan, Kowloon, Hong Kong
What: Eaton HK is offering a range of inclusive events as part of its two-month-long “Reorient to the Future” programme to help you celebrate loud and proud. The festivities include drag workshops and talks led by Drag Jam, exhibitions and performances by queer artists with disabilities, as well as a two-day market showcasing local queer creatives. The hotel is also partnering with Benefit Cosmetics to offer the “Love is Love” staycation package, which includes a complimentary care package, while its rooftop bar, Terrible Baby, is serving a signature sunset-hued Pride cocktail.
‘Moonlight’ film screening at the Africa Center Hong Kong

What: If you feel like unwinding, head over to the Africa Center to catch a free screening of the film Moonlight (2016). Set across three stages of protagonist Chiron’s life, the Oscar-winning coming-of-age film explores his struggles with self-acceptance, masculinity and homophobia as a queer Black man. After the screening, audiences are invited to stay for a discussion on the film. Don’t miss late-night African snacks, such as fried plantains.
