Netflix is bringing a special surprise to fans with an exclusive fan event for its latest romantic comedy series, “Can This Love Be Translated?”
Jakarta has once again become a key destination in the global Korean drama promotion map. This time, Netflix is offering a special surprise for fans with an exclusive fan event for its latest romantic comedy series, "Can This Love Be Translated?", which will be held on January 16, 2026, at Kota Kasablanka, Jakarta. The two main stars, Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung, are confirmed to be in attendance to celebrate the series' global premiere.
The appearance of Kim Seon-ho—known for Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Start-Up, and When Life Gives You Tangerines—alongside Go Youn-jung, star of Sweet Home and Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow, was a highly anticipated moment. Can This Love Be Translated? also marked the pair's first on-screen collaboration, a meeting that has garnered enthusiasm from Korean drama fans across the globe from the start.

The series follows Joo Ho-jin, a multilingual translator assigned to accompany Cha Mu-hee, a world-famous celebrity. From their professional encounters, a relationship develops that invites viewers to ponder a universal question: how do we actually translate and understand love? With a lighthearted approach typical of romantic comedies, the series explores communication, cultural differences, and often unspoken emotions.
Following a series of promotions in South Korea, Jakarta was chosen as one of the cities for the global celebration—a decision that reflects the large K-drama fan base in Indonesia. Director Yoo Young-eun and the cast will be in attendance to share behind-the-scenes stories and greet fans on the day of the series' global premiere.

Following the characters' journey across Japan, Korea, Canada, and Italy, visitors will be invited to explore various interactive segments that reflect cross-cultural cinema—as if on a romantic vacation with Kim Seon-ho and Go Youn-jung.
