International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8, is around the corner, which means there’s a plethora of women-centric events taking place in Hong Kong around this time. Whether it’s panel talks or pampering that you are interested in, this gives ladies a chance to press ‘pause’ on their busy schedules and prioritise an activity that truly stimulates them. 1. Women’s Day Celebration at The Women’s Lounge
When: March 7, 9 and 10

What: Women of Hong Kong has a strong line-up of events around International Women’s Day. On March 7, ladies can enjoy a combination of relaxation and networking at a candle-making workshop hosted by Candle Up. Then on March 9, join a panel discussion that will delve into topics such as inclusive leadership, ageism bias and more. The speakers include Women of Hong Kong founder Sarah Vee and Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation founder Lindsey McAlister.
And on March 10, Women of Hong Kong, in collaboration with local NGO Help for Domestic Workers, will honour the migrant domestic workers community by curating several engaging activities for them, such as an acupuncture session, and a salsa class.

3. International Women’s Day Luncheon at China Club

What: Join a charity lunch at China Club, the proceeds of which will go to NGOs such as Migrasia, which aids migrant workers; EmpowerU, an education platform for marginalised communities; and Akilah Institute, a non-profit college for women.
