Hongkongers might have been disappointed when Taylor Swift and Dua Lipa chose Singapore this year, but since then Hong Kong’s concert calendar has been buzzing, with heavyweights such as Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, John Legend and more coming to our city in 2024 and 2025
The rest of 2024 in Hong Kong’s cultural scene will be filled with excitement as a number of international musical greats and icons will be coming to town: Hikaru Utada from Japan, Conan Gray from the UK, Olivia Rodrigo from the US and more. Fans can expect to enjoy popular songs from these singers’ latest albums live. Some come with special meet-and-greet sessions.

1. Coldplay

When: April 9, 11 and 12, 2025
Where: Kai Tak Stadium
British rock band Coldplay is set to perform a concert at the soon-to-open Kai Tak Stadium early next year. They will be the first band to perform at this venue. According to reports, the Kai Tak Stadium, which cost approximately HK$31.9 billion to build and can accommodate over 50,000 spectators, is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2025. It will be Hong Kong’s largest sports complex.
Ticket pre-sale starts on October 7 at 10am, followed by the Klook pre-sale on October 8 at 10am and the Live Nation pre-sale (for members) on October 9 at 11am. General sales will begin on October 10 at 10am. Be sure to catch a glimpse of the iconic band and lo and behold, find yourselves among the first people to catch a concert in the state-of-the-art stadium!

2. John Legend: A Night of Songs and Stories

When: October 4, 2024
Where: AXA x Wonderland, West Kowloon
What: American singer John Legend, who has received 12 Grammy Awards throughout his illustrious career, will return to Hong Kong after six years, with this outdoor concert. “There are many outdoor performance venues around the world, and I can finally sing at an outdoor concert in Hong Kong. I’m sure it’ll be a different feeling,” he says in a press statement. “The organisers said the weather should be nice. I hope we’ll get to enjoy the stage then!”
3. Ne-Yo: Champagne and Roses Tour

When: October 11, 2024
Where: AXA x Wonderland Hong Kong
What: Get ready to see Grammy-winning R&B legend Ne-Yo at his one-night-only concert in Hong Kong this October—part of his Champagne and Roses Tour. Expect 2000s hits from the singer, like So Sick, Closer and Miss Independent.
4. Best of Fujii Kaze 2020-2024 Asia Tour

When: December 4, 2024
Where: AsiaWorld-Arena
What: One of Japan’s hottest names in the music scene, Fujii Kaze, is performing Hong Kong in early December. His first album Help Ever Hurt Never (2020), which conveyed a positive message of spreading kindness during the peak of the pandemic, reached number one on Billboard Japan’s Hot Album chart and won the country’s most prestigious awards such as the Grand Prize Blue of CD Shop Awards in 2021. Kaze was named YouTube Japan’s first Artist On the Rise and picked for Spotify’s global programme, Radar. He went on to perform in sold-out concerts in seven cities in Asia in 2023.
5. Yoasobi Asia Tour 2024-2025

When: December 26 and 27, 2024
Where: AsiaWorld-Arena
What: J-pop duo Yoasobi, consisting of musician and record producer Ayase and singer-songwriter Lilas Ikuta, will come to Hong Kong for the first time as part of Clockenflap’s line-up. Known for creating theme songs for online fictions, they first rose to fame in 2019 with Racing into the Night, which set a record for being the first song in Japan’s streaming platforms to reach more than one billion streams.
6. Imagine Dragons: Loom World Tour Live in Hong Kong

When: November 30-December 1, 2024
Where: AsiaWorld-Arena
What: Grammy-winning American pop rock band Imagine Dragons comes to Hong Kong this winter to perform tracks from their latest album Loom, which blends their iconic music with fresh styles. Released in June, the album was produced entirely by the band themselves during their hiatus last year. They took the time to reflect on their past to imagine their sound in the future.
7. Engfa Waraha: Reborn
When: October 27, 2024
Where: AXA Dreamland, Go Park, 9 Hoi Ying Rd, Ma On Shan
What: Thai musician, actor and beauty pageant winner Engfa Waraha will bring her energetic music to our city for the first time. Expect recent releases and popular hits such as The One and Only (2024) and Wow Wow Wow (2022). There will also be a meet-and-greet session before the concert.
8. Hikaru Utada: Science Fiction Tour
When: August 17-18, 2024
Where: AsiaWorld-Arena, AsiaWorld-Expo, Lantau
What: Japanese American singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada, celebrated for bringing R&B and dance-pop to the Japanese music scene in the 1990s, will host their Hong Kong concert for the first time this summer. Expect to hear tunes from Science Fiction, the hit album released in April this year.
9. Conan Gray: Found Heaven on Tour
When: August 27, 2024
Where: Hall 10, AsiaWorld-Expo, Lantau
What: American singer-songwriter and former YouTuber Conan Gray, widely known as “the prince of sad songs” for his introspective songs about the woes of love and feeling lost, will be on his Asia tour this summer that promotes Found Heaven, his third studio album released in April which features tracks—like Bourgeoisieses and Never Ending Song—that pay tribute to 1980s music.
10. Laufey: Bewitched: The Goddess Tour
When: August 29, 2024
Where: Hall 10, AsiaWorld-Expo, Lantau
What: Icelandic Chinese singer singer-songwriter and TikTok sensation Laufey Lín Bing Jónsdóttir, who performs under Laufey, is set to deliver an electrifying performance at her Hong Kong concert this summer as part of her global tour that started in October last year. She is expected to sing songs from her first album Everything I Know About Love (2022) and her latest album Bewitched (2023), which won the Best Traditional Pop Album at the Grammy Awards this year.
11. Bruno Major Asia Tour
When: September 8, 2024
Where: Kitty Woo Stadium, Tung Po, 2 Tsat Po Street, Sun Po Kong
What: Known for his emotive, romantic songs and collaborations with pop singers such as Finneas, British singer-songwriter Bruno Major will be back for a one-night-only Hong Kong concert in September. The show comes with a pre-show Q&A session and a soundcheck performance at an additional cost.
12. Olivia Rodrigo: Guts
When: September 24, 2024
Where: AsiaWorld-Arena, AsiaWorld-Expo, Lantau
What: Grammy-winning American singer-songwriter and actress Olivia Rodrigo will make her Hong Kong concert debut as part of her Guts world tour, which is her first arena tour. It supports her second studio album Guts, which topped American record chart Billboard 200 at its debut and earned six Grammy nominations.
13. Anne-Marie 2024 Live in Asia
When: October 3, 3034
Where: MacPherson Stadium, 38 Nelson Street, Mong Kok
What: English singer-songwriter Anne-Marie Rose Nicholson, who performs under the name Anne-Marie, is known for her chart-topping singles on the UK Singles Chart such as Kiss My (2021) and Ciao Adios (2018). The musician is also celebrated for being outspoken about redefining beauty standards and gender-free love, and she uses her music to convey her messages—think the 2018 hit Perfect to Me.
