Get ready for a musical spectacle alongside the thrilling race action as Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2025’s event organisers have announced the second wave of musical acts to look forward to come race weekend

Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2025 is gearing up to be an exhilarating event once again, as the event organisers have announced an exciting lineup of music acts to look forward to.

G-Dragon will kick off the thrilling weekend with his performance on Friday, October 3. This highly anticipated show marks the King of K-pop’s return to Singapore, with his last visit being in 2017. The Bang Bang Bang singer is renowned for his charismatic stage presence and electrifying performances. Following a seven-year hiatus, the leader of South Korean boyband Big Bang released new solo music in October and November 2024. He dropped his third studio album Ubermensch on February 25 this year.

Along with G-Dragon, K-pop star CL will perform at the Zone 4 Padang Stage on October 3. Known for her commanding vocals and stage presence, CL rose to prominence as the leader of 2NE1 before launching her successful solo career with hits such as The Baddest Female and Lover Like Me.

Indonesian singer-songwriter Putri Ariani is also set to perform on the first day of race weekend. The winner of talent variety show Indonesia’s Got Talent in 2014, Putri is well loved for her soulful voice and heartfelt songwriting.

Saturday night will see American rock band Foo Fighters playing some of their hard-hitting tracks on the same stage. With over 15 Grammy awards and a reputation for electrifying live performances, the band will bring their signature anthems to Singapore. Also performing on the same day is Japanese metal band Babymetal and South Korean DJ Hanna.

Come race day (October 5), find American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins lighting up the Zone 1 Wharf Stage. Returning to Singapore after 15 years, look forward to the band’s iconic guitar riffs and distinctive vocals.

The race weekend will end with an unforgettable performance by music legend Elton John as the closing act. One of the world’s most celebrated singers, anticipate an engaging show featuring hits from the Rocketman singer’s extensive music catalogue. The news of his upcoming performance in Singapore comes after wrapping up his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour and marks his return to the island since 2015.
