Lisa of Blackpink

Lisa of Blackpink, who needs no introduction and is an Aries, saw her fame shoot through the roof this year. And that’s not likely to slow down: with four major planets in Aries natally, and eclipses currently in Aries and Libra, she’ll see an even bigger emphasis on her career—if that is even possible—in the next 12 months.

Jupiter’s transit through Aries in 2022 and 2023 had already given her career a boost, even if she did suffer scandals from expressions of her sexuality, which is to be expected from her racy Scorpio Moon. This is also a good example of how some years are simply “full on” in terms of both the good and the bad. She’s as much water as she is fire, and the sultriness of her Scorpio Moon is as prominent on stage as in her everyday life as her unique vivacious Aries self.

One thing’s for sure though: her notoriety and fame will no doubt continue into 2024. And in the long run, with all that Aries energy, she’ll want to do her own thing and it’s unlikely she will be happy being told what to do.

Jisoo of Blackpink

Staying with Blackpink for a moment, Jisoo—with five planets including her Sun in Capricorn—will be having her big year in 2024, too.

Jisoo’s chart with her Capricorn-Libra planets screams elegance and “Dior”, the brand she represents. And as Saturn returns come around only once every 29 years, this one marks a test of Jisoo’s courage to continue her work in a steadfast manner. The Saturn return is a year of stepping into responsibility, and this past year year saw her learn what it means to take responsibility in her daily work. She also came into her own with her solo single album—aptly titled Me, which was released in March. The album sold one million copies, and broke world records for highest first-week sales for a female K-pop solo singer.

Ariana Grande

The Saturn return is nothing to scoff at. Just look at Arianna Grande, a Cancer, who split from her real estate husband Dalton Gomez in July this year, which coincided with the onset of her Saturn return as well. Given Saturn’s importance as “chart ruler” of her birth chart, 2023 was a year in which she stepped into a new role and moved towards what she wants out of her identity, and specifically out of her relationships. This is naturally hard for Grande, who sees her sense of security and self linked to being in a nurturing relationship, and at the same time has bountiful opportunities to be in one.

This year and the first half of 2024 will continue to accentuate her romantic opportunities thanks to Jupiter’s transit, and it also ushered in a new relationship with her Wicked co-star, Ethan Slater. Looking at both their charts, these two may feel like they have a past-life connection.

However, there may be some bumpy roads ahead for Grande with the Aries-Libra eclipses affecting her chart. She’ll need to be extra-cautious around her relationships, as well as her mental health under these eclipses.

Pharrell Williams

Pharrell Williams’s renaissance blossomed as a number of transits came together in perfect sequence. When this happens, you get the feeling that it’s not just raining—it’s pouring; and depending on your chart, that could be either a good or bad thing. Williams is an Aries, and eclipses on his Moon and Sun since as early as late 2022 gave him the super-power boost of attention he’s receiving right now, including his appointment as Louis Vuitton’s creative director for menswear. Incidentally, the last eclipse cycle of a similar nature was around 2004 to 2005, which marked his first collaboration with the brand and the launch of his iconic Millionaire sunglasses with then creative director, Marc Jacobs.

Successes aside, there is a lot of work in the background for Williams despite the multifaceted gifts that come with his Mercury-Midheaven combination. More notably, these next couple of years will be a turning point for his career—particularly from late 2024 to early 2025 thanks to Saturn’s transits when he’ll no doubt face the uphill challenges of a relatively new full-time career in fashion. Thankfully as an Aries, he’s not afraid to try new things especially where artistry is concerned, and his Venusian sensibility continues to be strongly linked to his identity; and we can expect him to reinvent himself for many decades to come.
