Ready But Postponed Or Cancelled

AUGUST 8 UNTIL SEPTEMBER 5, 2020
A+ Works of Art presents this group exhibition featuring works by Chong Kim Chew, Hà Ninh Pham, Noor Mahnun Mohamed, Leslie de Chavez, Pangrok Sulap and Yim Yen Sum. The collaboration with Arario Gallery and The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre provides a platform for artists whose exhibitions were either cancelled or postponed due to Covid-19.

Transcendence

NOW UNTIL SEPTEMBER 27, 2020
To be held at ZHAN Art | Space in Jaya One, Peisy Ting's first solo show expresses human emotions through abstract forms, utilising bold colours and composition. The exhibition explores "the boundaries of introspection, reflection, and emotion in its purest abstraction", inviting viewers to transcend their subconscious and connect with the pieces on a deeper level. An accompanying panel discussion on Malaysian contemporary art on Aug 15 will also serve as an introduction to the exhibition.

Bayangnya Itu Timbul Tenggelam — Photographic Cultures In Malaysia

Since the father of Malay literature Munshi Abdullah saw his first daguerreotype in 1841, the rapid development of photography has nurtured various cultures in Malaysia. This exhibition at Ilham Gallery explores the various facets and meaning people have attached to photography via more than 1,400 photographs and artefacts dating back to the 1920s.
