Soprano Sumi Jo to sing the season finale at the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in June

This 13 and 14 June, South Korean soprano superstar Sumi Jo will be lending her powerful vocals to the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in a special season finale performance.

Backed by the Transylvanian State Philharmonic Choir, she will sing a selection of arias and choruses of some the world’s most favourite operas, among them Verdi’s, Il Trovatore and Aida.

Puccini’s 'Madame Butterfly' and 'Gianni Schicci', Offenbach’s 'Tales of Hoffmann', Smetana’s 'Bartered Bride Overture' will also be covered with a full orchestra conducted by Nicolae Moldoveanu.
