The renowned fashion designer and one half of the duo behind Maison Rizman Ruzaini celebrated his 40th birthday in Kuala Lumpur this May
Beloved by fans, customers and friends for his talent, humility, and down-to-earth demeanor, Rizman Nordin is the co-founder of Maison Rizman Ruzaini, a fashion label he started with his former UiTM classmate and good friend, Wan Ruzaini Jamil.

Last month, the youthful-looking designer and father of two celebrated his 40th birthday in the presence of friends and family in a joyful gathering attended by celebrities, royals, and VIPs at the Astor Room of The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur.

Donning a stylish all-red ensemble to match the elegant red Rizman Ruzaini creation worn by his beloved wife Nurida Suraya, Rizman enjoyed a night of music, touching greetings, and even a surprise dance performance thrown in by his co-founder Ruzaini and Nurida.
Other star-studded performances of the night were sung by Ning Baizura Dalton, Hael Husaini, Dayang Nurfaizah, Aina Abdul, Liza Hanim and Ziana Zain–most memorably the famed Malaysian celeb and songstress who accepted Rizman and Ruzaini’s request to create a dress for her back when the aspiring fashion designers were still interns at a local publishing house years ago.

The Astor Room of the St. Regis Kuala Lumpur was adorned with an elegant black and gold themed setup with a beautiful dinner table setup featuring red roses, Jo Malone candles, exquisite silverware, and a box of Patchi chocolates for guests to take home as a delicious memento of the evening.
The intimate birthday celebration was made especially meaningful as invited guests generously participated in a donation drive for Palestine that raised almost RM25,000.
Guests like Izzana Salleh, Whulandary Herman, Tengku Shaheera Abdullah, Dr Fazliana Abd Rashid and Dr Farid Razali, and Thanuja Ananthan turned up to celebrate this milestone together with Rizman and his family.
