The Manila International Book Fair returns to the SMX Convention Center Manila from September 9 to 13 under the theme “Get Lit: Reading in a New Light”
Organised by Primetrade Asia, Inc, the Manila International Book Fair serves as the Philippines’ longest-running book event, welcoming visitors daily from 10am to 8pm across its five-day run. The 2026 edition features book discounts, author signings and interactive showcases from a wide range of local and international publishers.
Returning alongside the main showcase of the Manila International Book Fair is the School World segment. Designed as a dedicated space for educators, academic leaders and students, this section provides direct access to modern teaching tools, learning materials and the latest educational technologies.

This year’s floor plan features major retail chains and flagship booths from bookshops and educational presses, including Fully Booked, National Book Store, 19th Avenida Publishing House, Abiva Publishing House, Adarna House, Anvil Publishing and Ateneo de Manila University Press.
Educational and academic publishers joining the event include C&E Adaptive Learning Solutions, Central Book Supply, Lampara Publishing House, Megatexts Phil., Milflores Publishing, Rex Education, Scholastic Philippines and the Vibal Group.
Fans of pop culture, graphic novels and contemporary fiction will find collections from Comic Odyssey, Komiket Studios, Precious Pages, Psicom Publishing and Summit Publishing. Spiritual and inspirational works will be presented by exhibitors such as Bayard Assumption Media Foundation, Claretian Communications Foundation, OMF Literature, Paulines and St Paul’s.

Global titles and historical materials will also be on display, with participation from Alkem & Penguin Random House SEA, Cengage Learning Asia Pte Ltd, the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino and the National Historical Commission of the Philippines.

Tickets can be purchased online via the SM Tickets website or directly at the SMX Convention Center counter during the event. Onsite entrance passes are priced at PHP 50 for regular attendees, while students and senior citizens can access a discounted rate of PHP 35 upon presenting a valid identification card.
In support of National Teachers Month (NTM) and its theme “My Teacher, My Hero”, the event offers free admission to all teachers who present a valid school ID at the counter. Additionally, the Metrobank Foundation, the lead proponent of NTM, will host dedicated activities for educators at their booth throughout the fair.
The Manila International Book Fair is mounted in cooperation with the Asian Catholic Communicators, Inc (ACCI), Book Development Association of the Philippines (BDAP), Overseas Publishers Representatives’ Association of the Philippines (OPRAP), Philippine Booksellers Association, Inc (PBAI) and the Philippine Educational Publishers Association (PEPA). The event is supported by the National Book Development Board (NBDB) and My Teacher, My Hero.
