As part of Hong Kong Disneyland’s 20th anniversary celebrations, Broadway star Lea Salonga will return to perform beloved classics in January 2026.

Your genie wish is granted: Broadway star Lea Salonga, who lent her singing voice to Jasmine and Mulan in Disney’s Aladdin (1992) and Mulan (1998) will come to Hong Kong Disneyland to perform at Disney Legend Live in Concert on January 10, 2026. The concert is part of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

Set against the shimmering lights of the Castle of Magical Dreams and a firework display, Salonga will be joined by six Disney Princesses and Queens—Jasmine, Mulan, Tiana, Elsa, Cinderella and Pocahontas—and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra to deliver songs that pay tribute to the bravery, dreams and spirit of beloved Disney characters.

Salonga, who performed at the grand opening of the resort 20 years ago, is known for her renditions of A Whole New World and Reflection, which have become timeless Disney classics.

Beyond Disney, she is celebrated for originating the role of Kim in the Broadway musical Miss Saigon, for which she won a Tony Award in 1991. She was the first Asian woman to win a Tony Award and the first to play the roles of Éponine and Fantine in Les Misérables on Broadway.

Passes for Disney Legend Live in Concert Presents Lea Salonga will be available to the public from November 13, 2025, while priority booking for Magic Access Platinum members will start on November 12, 2025.
