From now till November 14, K11 Musea is offering guests an array of immersive experiences in art and culture with a collection of six uniquely themed “Muse Rooms”. Expect to see a unique variety of installations, lifestyle goods and more
K11 Musea, Hong Kong’s most unique cultural-retail destination at Victoria Dockside, is presenting a new cultural programme in addition to their usual top-notch shopping experiences this fall. From now till November 14, guests are invited to visit and explore its new collection of six Muse Rooms, where each of the rooms features a different theme and a wide array of cultural experiences waiting to be enjoyed.
The Muse Rooms, which are specially designed to offer the public a novel way to experience arts and culture, will feature cross-disciplinary collaborations between acclaimed artists, designers, lifestyle brands and tastemakers. A stellar lineup of renowned artists including a’strict, Jon Burgerman, Nelson Chow, Tony Oursler, Hajime Sorayama and Joyce Wang will take you on an artistic journey that fuses art, design, gastronomy and entertainment all together at this iconic complex.
One of the key highlights of Muse Rooms is interior designer Joyce Wang’s “Dockside Dairy”, where guests will be able to see a reimagined nostalgic ice cream kiosk installation featuring a unique octagon shape and terrazzo materials—in a nod to old Hong Kong public parks and old tenement houses. While evoking locals’ childhood memories, Wang’s work is also accompanied by Cookie DPT’s delicious creations. Guests will enjoy ice cream cookie sandwiches featuring unique Hong Kong-inspired flavours (such as Milo, milk tea, taro and yuan yang) and ice cream fillings (such as peanut butter condensed milk, “White Rabbit” candy and milk tea).

Architect Nelson Chow is also participating in the programme, who collaborated with homegrown café chain Elephant Grounds to launch an immersive installation at the Bohemian Garden. Stepping into the space shuttle-inspired installation filled with illuminated bulbs, visitors will enjoy a little taste of escapism from the daily grind in its surreal and Insta-worthy surroundings. This is Chow’s first-ever outdoor interactive installation and Elephant Ground’s refreshing, extraterrestrial-themed drinks will be served for a multi-sensory art experience.
On the other hand, artist Jon Burgerman is presenting his first solo showcase in the city with an creative space called Candyland. Inspired by iconic candies sold at pick ‘n’ mix counters, and the way how he picks his favourite pigments for his paintings resembles the act of picking candies, this area features the artist’s cartoon illustrations of candies in his iconic style, where whimsical candy-inspired limited-edition prints, rugs and other merch will be up for grabs as well.
While you’re there, don’t forget to take advantage of the photogenic backdrop and retro photo booths to capture those fun memories.
Another unmissable experience is the Net-a-Porter pop-up that’s designed to connect online and offline worlds, using data to enhance the luxury retail experience. Visitors are immersed in the luxury e-tailer’s new house codes of a dynamic pink hue, and led to admire the mesmerising installation in the Secret Room by a’strict, an acclaimed collaborative media artist unit from Korea. A tastefully curated selection of Net-a-Porter's latest luxury wardrobe essentials will also be showcased here.
