American Ballet Theatre (ABT) principal dancer Stella Abrera, together with her fellow ABT dancers, graces BGC Arts Centre's stage on April 6 and 7 for the benefit of the CENTEX program of the Ayala Foundation.
For two memorable nights of dance, music, and art, international ballerina Stella Abrera will be performing together with her fellow American Ballet Theatre stars. Co-presented by the Ayala Foundation and Patek Philippe, and made possible by Sofia Elizalde, the show entitled, "An Intimate Evening with Stella Abrera & American Ballet Stars", is all for the benefit of the Centre of Excellence in Public Elementary Education (CENTEX) program of the previously mentioned foundation.
"We're so grateful and excited to have Stella Abrera join us for this unbelievable opportunity," says Sofia Zobel Elizalde, committee chair for the benefit performance. "She's not only an amazing dancer and artist, but a true lady in every way. I am thrilled that our Filipino audiences will get a chance to see her live and be inspired by her spirit."
"As we celebrate the past 20 years of the Ayala Foundation, we're inspired to make an even greater impact. With this show, we will be able to support our CENTEX teachers who will be training public school teachers across the country. Moreover, this will support the education of our CENTEX scholars," President of Ayala Foundation Ruel Maranan shared. Moreover, he expressed his gratitude to the people behind this show for the initiative of promoting the arts and culture. "Amidst all the initiatives of the Ayalala Group of Companies, there is always this room for the arts and culture. After all, our identity as Filipinos can only be completed or can be whole if we introspect and find the arts and culture within us.
