Likha Residences offers families a home within a close-knit community built on their culture of laidback, Southern living
Home is where the heart is—and there's plenty of that in the South. Developed by PHINMA Prism, the high end real estate arm of PHINMA Inc., Likha Residences is a townhouse development located south of the Manila hustle and bustle. Though it remains within the cusp of NCR, this new property finds itself as a community on its own. "I don't know if there's really such a thing as 'southern' lifestyle," jokes Enrique M. Moran, COO of PHINMA Prism. "But if there is, it's very laidback. Community-wise, very close-knit."
This kind of hospitality is exactly the kind of culture that Likha Residences builds itself upon. Located on a 1.2-hectare lot in Muntinlupa, the property is close to major central business districts, schools, hospitals, and retail centres. Though the land itself is ample in space, there are only a handful of units within the area. "It's 50 per cent open space, so we only have 68 units," Moran clarifies. There are 20 3-storey units and 48 4-storey units, all of which come with airy spaces, parking allotment for two vehicles, and access to communal amenities (such as a swimming pool, playground, fitness area, and clubhouse). They also have three bedrooms each and have a floor area of 237.85 square metres and 323.80 square metres respectively.

Built for the Filipino, by the Filipino
Of course, Likha was not just born for the community, but for the family as well. "We focused on the Filipino family, focused on what they want," Moran says. "[We want to] build the foundation for [the families] so that as the kids grow up, Likha will forever remain in their memories. [The property is] really built to last." This kind of design was culture-specific too. Not only was it designed by the National Artist Francisco Mañosa's firm, Mañosa & Company, it is also named after the Filipino word "to create".
