The secret to the series’ skin-pampering prowess lies in the patented Skin+ fabric, which contains microcapsules of a carotenoid-producing probiotic. Carotenoids are organic pigments found in carrots, watermelons and tomatoes that give the fruits and vegetables their distinctive orange and red colours. These pigments are known to be powerful antioxidants that can protect the skin from ultraviolet radiation, aid in skin cell regeneration, as well as prevent skin cell damage caused by ageing.
The microcapsules release the proprietary probiotic as the body moves on a Skin+ mattress. The Beautyrest Glow series comprises two models, Beautyrest Natural Glow, which retails from SG$8,099 and Beautyrest Soft Glow, which retails from SG$8,899. The former is a CoolGel foam mattress while the latter, natural latex. Both are available in Queen and King sizes, come furnished with Skin+ fabric, and contain the Simmons Original Pocketed Coils technology that minimises motion transfer for undisturbed sleep.
