Renowned designer Karim Rashid teams up with BoConcept for a complete dining collection

Karim Rashid
He has lent his design prowess to various projects such as hotel interiors, high tech products, and luxury products, and now, industrial designer Karim Rashid has collaborated with BoConcept on an entire dining collection. Called the Ottawa collection (named for the capital of Canada where he graduated from design school), it is a homage to his 30 years in design, and encompasses a complete dining room set with a table, chairs, sideboard, and cabinet.

The Ottawa dining chair is inspired by nature with its leaf shape and a ‘forest’ of legs, bringing an interesting character to the dining setting, without compromising on comfort.

Tying in the aesthetic is the dining table, which is reminiscent of Danish furniture in the 1950s and ‘60s. there is also the element of adaptability, as it’s extendable and can accommodate up to 14 people. It comes in a choice of light oak or high gloess white, with two different leg colours.
As with most BoConcept furniture, there is the option of customisation in colours and materials, so you can create an aesthetic that fits right in your home.
