In an adorable campaign to bring to light its new lamps' motion-sensor potential, Hermès has cleverly acquired the help of a few frisky felines (and one little mouse).

After launching a new home fragrances collection and even a collaboration with Pilot for a series of luxury writing instruments, French leather goods brand Hermès is widening its scope even further by releasing a series of lamps, the Hermès Collection Luminaires.
Lamps from Hermès aren’t going to be just any lamps, of course. Its new lamps – the Harnais, Pantograph and Lanterne d’Hermès – shine light on a sophisticated motion sensor technology.
In an adorable campaign to bring to light the lamps’ potential, the brand has cleverly acquired the help of a few frisky felines (and one little mouse).
The playful housecats can be seen batting and swatting away at the new lamps, triggering the motion-sensors to turn them on and off. Their antics are highly humourous and certainly strike a chord in the hearts of many Internet users who worship cat videos online.
Watch the video below:
Unlike the hundreds of thousands of cat videos flooding the World Wide Web, however, it is important to note the cats in Hermès’s video are gentle and well-behaved, verging on elegant and sophisticated, staying in line with the image of the brand.
Like the lamps, they are endearing and enamouring , but still remain refined and classy.
