For the first time ever, Tatler Philippines honoured seven outstanding creative forces at the 2022 Tatler Homes Design Awards held at the Ayala Museum
Manila’s creative and stylish set enjoyed a night of free-flowing cocktails and lively music as Tatler Philippines unveiled the first Tatler Homes Design Awards. Celebrating ingenuity and design, the Tatler Homes Design Awards recognised the country’s brilliant minds in the fields of architecture and design.
The Lead partner of the successful occasion was one of the country’s leading luxury furniture distributors Furnitalia, which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Gold Partner for the event was the premier financial institution, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). The Supporting Partners were Scavolini, Draco Builders and SMDC.
The winners were handpicked by the Tatler editorial team led by Tatler Homes Philippines editor Stephanie Zubiri and Tatler Philippines Managing Director, Irene Martel Francisco, alongside an illustrious panel composed of UP College of Architecture programme director Johannes Vincent Chua, iconic designer Kenneth Cobonpue, multi-awarded interior designer JJ Acuña, Art Fair Philippines co-founder Trickie Lopa; and sustainability champion Bill Bensley.

Taking the spotlight at the exclusive event were the winners: Carol Karthe's suburban home (Best Living Space); Louis Vuitton Greenbelt 3 boutique by Philux (Best Use of Colour), Miguel Que Rodriguez’s private residence (Best Use of Art), MLR Polo Pavilion by Sangay Architects (Best Sustainable Design), the Philippine Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2021 by architects Sudarshan Khadka Jr and Alexander Eriksson Furunes (Best Innovative Design), Viewpoint House by Jim Caumeron (Best Architectural Concept) and Ria Prieto (Tastemaker Award).

Hosted by the gorgeous Nicole Andersson, the Tatler Homes Design Awards welcomed 150 guests including Manny Miñana, J Antonio Mendoza, Royal Pineda, Tessa Alindogan, and Vianca Favila, among others.
Guests savoured a stellar feast prepared by Lusso of the award-winning chef Margarita Forés, which was complemented by sharp and dry gin martinis, bubbly and full-bodied Shiraz. The night went on as the crowd enjoyed the electro beats of DJ Samantha Nicole.
