The recessed variant ensures dynamic lighting options, while the track option adds practicability to task-related areas with its diffused lighting distribution. 3. Mazha by Mario Tsai Studio
The best-selling Mazha collection from Mario Tsai Studio was originally inspired by the cross-legged folding stools still found on China’s street corners to this day, comprising pared-back lighting fixtures that consist of LED tubes, metal poles and wire for endless modular possibilities. Their use of a minimum of materials also means greater sustainability, longevity, and ease of maintenance, all while portraying a sense of soft minimalism. Evolutions of the original design, the lamp tube of the Mazha 4.1 is encased in glass, taking inspiration from the process of water freezing, while the structural elements of the Mazha 5.1 take after scaffolding in urban construction.
The pendant lamp variant features a unique combination of replaceable round light tubes and flat glass as the main structural form, which results in a transparent yet substantial appearance. The interior of the lighting almost appears to float ethereally, despite its simple form. Take your pick from pendant, wall, and floor lamp options.

4. Caos by A-emotional light

Spanish brand a-emotional light’s entire premise is built upon a key principle: to “make people feel”. Founded in 1994 by designer Arturo Álvarez, the Galicia-based firm made its name with handcrafted lights featuring unique details and organic forms; lighting fixtures that would boast a distinctive presence in any space and elicit an emotional response from those beholding them.
The brand recently launched Caos, a new range of pendant lamps that draw inspiration from the “primordial state of the cosmos”. Comprising pressed and recycled cellulose cord worked by hand into uniquely organic forms, the lights are meant to convey a sense of “intentional disorder that concludes in a harmonious volume, beautiful and full of movement”. Customers can choose from options in white, grey or green; an option of customisable hues lets homeowners come up with their own truly unique and personalised lighting fixture.

Infusing your home with character and depth has never been easier with Mad et Len, a niche fragrance house based in southern France. Launched in 2007 by Alexandre Piffaut and Sandra Fuzier, the brand’s perfumes and handmade creations are filled with inspiration from its setting in the French Alps as well as the co-founders’ many trips around the world. Utilising undiluted organic essential oils distilled from flora, spices, woods and various other aromatics, Mad et Len home fragrances boast spellbinding, incredibly layered scents in the form of lava and resin potpourri, hand-poured candles, and eau de parfums.

All in all, these products are true works of art, with the love and dedication that went into their making clear indicators of Mad et Len’s impeccable nose for its craft.
