Taking inspiration from verdant hills and soothing lakeside lounging, this couch brings some of the outdoors inside, without you getting rain-soaked. Bohinc collaborated with the French upholstery house Maison Phelippeau, using alpaca wool and horsehair to create the piece.

Emulating the childhood snack of bread and butter, Faye Toogood created a playful sofa in velvet fabric for the Italian brand Tacchini, which went on display this Milan Design Week. The piece is reminiscent of 1970s conversation pits or sleepovers with friends, making it the perfect piece to lounge on amid the rainy season.
