Made in collaboration with Michelin-star Chef Daniel Boulud, the Lalique Bar at Restaurant DANIEL is the beautiful new must-see at the Big Apple
It's no surprise that at the Lalique Bar in New York, glass art and crystal adorn almost every corner. A fusion of European and American contemporary design, this new (and luxurious) watering hole at the Restaurant DANIEL is a nod towards the French glass making company as it extends itself to serve an epicurean experience to the most cosmopolitan of clientele. Now, they are able to offer drinkers and diners a bespoke bar experience amid a backdrop of exquisite crystal, each of which was fabricated at the company's Wingen-sur-Moder factory in the Alsace.

The entire concept was made in collaboration with renowned Michelin-star chef, Daniel Boulud, who worked closely with the team to curate the experience. "We are honoured to have the opportunity to work with Chef Daniel Boulud and his team on this exciting Lalique installation to help reimagine the experience of Restaurant DANIEL," said Silvio Denz, Chairman and CEO of Lalique.

At Restaurant DANIEL, the libations menu features a wide range of rare spirits from around the world. Cocktails are also available, as are wines from the Rhône and Burgundy and champagnes from the best vineyards. In honour of the new bar, the restaurant will also be offering a limited-time custom cocktail assembled tableside called La Liqueur de René, a nod to René Jules Lalique, the Founder of Lalique. The drink will feature Glenturret 15- year-old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey, Montreuil Reserve Calvados, Pineau Des Charentes, a handful of aromatic bitters, and garnished with a flamed lemon twist.
A sensual experience through and through, guests will also be immersed in the beautiful architecture and Lalique décor that surrounds them. At the entrance of the bar stands a magnificent archway sided by two transparent Soudan panels. This is followed by impressive huge-scale creations including wall decorations and even intimate details such as door handles all thought through by the Lalique team.

Throughout the bar, guests will see triangular cut Vibration crystal pieces finished in gold lustre—a nod to the opulence of the French company. Soudan LED mirrors and Coutard scone lights can also be found in other dining areas of the Restaurant DANIEL, further complemented by the lanterns hung above the bar surface. Impressive and luxurious, the Restaurant DANIEL and Lalique have created a truly magnificent space that's sure to be the most exciting in all of Manhattan.
