Situated in the quiet Sta Elena Golf and Estate in Sta Rosa, Laguna, Lakehall at Nena’s Sanctuary combines breathtaking lakeside and garden views with contemporary, world-class services to bring an omnichannel, lifestyle retail and leisure destination. A homage to Rico and Nena Tantoco, the event space goes beyond four walls as it embodies their spirit and zeal.
Spearheading this passion project are Christian Tantoco and Nicole Tantoco De Los Reyes, who picked up what their parents started. “This is a family business in the best sense of the word. My grandparents were the inspiration and foundation of how this project became possible. My parents were the authors and builders of the concept. We, the children, are the ones who are tasked with executing the vision... At the heart of these plans was the vision of creating modern amenities and spaces without breaking the experience of nature,” said Christian, who is in charge of creative direction for Lakehall.

From weddings to corporate events and birthday parties, Lakehall is a special place suited for all types of events and experiences. Its elegantly-designed and spacious banquet hall pushes the boundaries of interior design and superior architecture. “The banquet hall fits up to 360 people seated. It can be divided into three rooms—the Peony, Dahlia and Iris—each of which can fit 120 people. Each room is equipped with its catering kitchen and set of bathrooms. There are two getting-ready rooms, the Orchid Suite and the Gardenia Suite, each with its bedroom, bathroom and lounge. The outdoor areas include the Terrace, which is a lanai-like space overlooking the lake, an amphitheatre and a deck that can be used for wedding ceremonies or talk., Plus a garden which can accommodate outdoor events,” shared Nicole.

Lakehall is just the first phase of a much larger project. Nena’s Sanctuary is ultimately envisioned as a leisure destination in the south that brings food, art, and more together into one beautiful natural environment. “The idea of diversifying and enlarging the community of Sta Elena was on my parents’ minds for a few years already. They wanted to create a unique destination that would feature a modern European-style garden centre, some retail spaces and food,” said Christian.
