Dexterton has transformed one of its showrooms into a wondrous destination for Kohler’s state-of-the-art creations—relive the grand launch below
The theme of the event, “Come All Creators,” proved to be one compelling invitation. On the evening of October 13, 2023, distinguished architects, interior designers and several other figures in Manila’s creative community flocked to Bonifacio Global City for the official opening of the new Kohler showroom. This landmark event also celebrated the renowned kitchen and bath brand’s 150th Anniversary.
The glamorous multi-level space, which featured floral vignettes, interactive suites and a captivating display of Kohler’s limited-edition pieces that night, may have already been familiar to those in attendance. It is, after all, the same address of Dexterton, a noteworthy stalwart in the Philippine design industry for over three decades. The “refresh” of the showroom marks its remarkable 20-year-long partnership with Kohler while signalling a new era for the homegrown brand, one defined by a fresh approach to product curation and delivering unique, immersive experiences for customers to inspire and nurture bold ideas.

“We take immense pride in being part of Kohler’s 150th-anniversary celebration, and our primary goal is to share with our clients the same artistic fulfilment and creativity that Kohler exemplifies,” Audrey Go, vice president and creative director at Dexterton, shared in a later statement. “The transformation of our showroom mirrors our unwavering dedication to innovation and design excellence, perfectly aligning with the principles upheld by our esteemed partner brands, including Kohler, over the years.”

In the true spirit of collaboration and creativity, the event last October 13 showcased the Kohler Artist Edition collection right at the entrance. The vibrantly-coloured pieces in this series brandish original artworks by four female artists from around the world, with Kohler’s high-quality products serving as canvases for their alluring creations.
Another highlight of the evening came when guests enthusiastically seized the chance to bid on two of these limited-edition items, which included the foliage-laden “Falling Gently” sink by American street artist ELLE and the mythical-inspired “A World on Strings” sink by Chinese artist Ziling Wang. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Gynecologic Oncology Department of the Philippine General Hospital, a cause that’s near and dear to Go’s heart.
