从Amankora采用的夯土建筑,到Zhiwaling的无钉榫卯工艺,六家酒店品牌在不丹打造了设计引领型酒店,并以各自的方式演绎了政府规定的建筑准则。

不丹的建筑规范对于酒店的外观有着极为严格的界定。政府规定,所有商业建筑必须符合传统建筑准则,包括窗户比例和屋顶坡度。对于过去二十年里进入该市场的国际酒店集团而言,这意味着虽然面临共同的约束,但最终呈现的却是截然不同的设计杰作。这些设计引领型酒店在不丹各具特色,展现出对当地美学的独特解读。

Aman(安缦)邀请了一位澳大利亚现代主义建筑师,通过夯土工艺重新诠释了宗(Dzong)的建筑形式。Six Senses(六善)则将其在五个山谷的布局分散开来,每个选址都以不同的方式解读了当地的建筑风格。Como(卡玛)聘请了同一位澳大利亚现代主义大师的学生,打造出更显静谧的建筑空间。与此同时,一家位于帕罗(Paro)的不丹本土酒店花费五年时间证明,数百年的榫卯技术也能带来不逊于国际知名品牌的精致质感。这些设计引领型酒店在不丹展示了如何在严苛的规则下,对“不丹精神”进行不同维度的诠释。

当Kerry Hill建筑事务所(Kerry Hill Architects)在21世纪初开始设计Amankora时,已故的澳大利亚建筑师Kerry Hill明确表示,他无意复刻不丹华丽多彩的宗(Dzong)建筑风格。他的五家旅馆分别位于帕罗、廷布、普那卡、岗提和布姆唐,历时约十五年完工。这些酒店不仅是设计引领型酒店在不丹的典范,更是在精神上而非装饰上体现了“不丹美学”。建筑结构的选择是关键的决策:传统不丹建筑采用夯土结构,但由于项目启动前发生的大地震,这一工艺被现代酒店建筑所排除。Hill的解决方案是采用工程化的防震夯土,并由他亲自培训的不丹本地工匠负责建造。
