Explore the extensive material library and digital tools at the newly-opened Cosentino City Singapore, which serves as a treasure trove of inspiration for designers, architects and homeowners

Step inside a modern garden-inspired haven at Cosentino City Singapore, the new flagship showroom of Spanish architectural surfaces brand Cosentino Group. Designed by the Cosentino City team in Spain, the 4,000 sq ft venue features a lofty 10m-tall ceiling height enlivened by flourishing greenery overhead, comprising multiple areas clad in collections from the manufacturer’s Dekton, Sensa and Silestone brands.

Situated in The Heart at Marina One, the newly-opened store is one of 19 ‘city’-themed boutiques around the world and replaces the brand’s previous showroom location along Duxton Road which opened in 2014. Supported by the regional logistics centre in Gul Avenue, this spacious Singapore showroom also functions as Cosentino's Asia Pacific business hub and headquarters; it also takes a leaf from the island-state's Garden City moniker with vertical gardens and other verdant elements incorporated into the interior.

Aside from the Singapore showroom’s April opening, another store is slated to open in the same month in Tokyo, Japan. Envisioned as a creative centre for designers, architects and homeowners to discover inspiring ways of using materials for their spaces, the Singapore showroom incorporates immersive digital tools, along with open-plan areas where workshops and events will be conducted.

Here, we pick out some of the key highlights in store:

1. Practical Magic

Where better to see the practical benefits of materials than in a fully functioning kitchen? This full-equipped culinary space which will host cooking demonstrations, features the Dekton Laurent collection, a surface with a striking dark brown design with gold veins inspired by the texture of the Port Laurent natural stone.

Additionally, visitors can also explore other gallery areas in the showroom for inspiring ways that materials can be used, whether as flooring, wall cladding, or countertops; these include various applications of the Dekton ultra-slim surfaces, which measure up to 6.25m while having a thin profile that’s just 4mm thick.

2. Larger than Life

An augmented reality (AR) zone will help you better visualise the elements needed to create the home of your dreams. Experiment with a mix of colours and materials for your upcoming renovation in the Digital Experiential Centre, a zone that incorporates various digital tools including AR features.

All products produced by the Spanish manufacturer through processes that utilise 100 per cent renewable electric energy and 99 per cent recycled water. On top of that, its Silestone collections are now manufactured with zero water wastage and feature an increased amount of recycled materials, while the sleek Dekton surfaces have been certified to have achieved full carbon neutrality.

3. The Atelier

Craft mood boards for your dream home in this well-stocked library zone. With a wide-ranging variety of locally available and globally-sourced surfaces, this space is designed as a library providing access to not only Cosentino materials but also a selection of wallcoverings, upholstery fabrics, lighting, and other furnishing elements from partner brands.

4. The Next Stage

The Singapore showroom also debuts the launch of C-TOP Design, a new global programme that supports designers throughout the creative process. Aside from digital tools, members will also gain access to exclusive colours, special rates and requests for samples to be delivered swiftly within 48 hours; a feat supported by the regional logistics centre at Singapore’s Gul Avenue.

What this could mean for homeowners is potentially a more customised experience, tailormade to suit the needs of their next renovation; all useful details that will help create a cohesive and beautiful interior for your abode.

“Cosentino City Singapore is an engaging space where we build a community by engaging our partners and customers at a personal level.
