Marrying construction expertise with a passion for design, Maxalto’s latest pieces transform any home into a true Parisian sanctuary
Parisian interiors are known for their romantic ambience and distinctive details, eliciting a light and airy feeling through high ceilings, bay windows and tasteful furniture. They invite a sense of creativity, captivating the hearts of countless individuals who long to recreate the Parisian atmosphere in their own homes.
Maxalto enters the scene with a selection of timeless elegance. The brand’s pieces exude European luxury, transporting you to a well-appointed Parisian home. Amidst a sea of vibrant and uniquely shaped maximalist furniture, Maxalto stands out for its stripped-back refinement and unparalleled craftsmanship, allowing each piece to speak volumes through its design and quality. Using B&B Italia’s Research and Development Centre, Maxalto follows the same standards of quality for materials and the production process.

Since 1996, Antonio Citterio has been at the helm of Maxalto as its creative director and sole designer. Citterio affectionately refers to his works as “modern neo-classics”, blending to form a cohesive and fluid home environment. While embracing the modern, Citterio’s designs draw inspiration from the shapes, structures and materials found in aspirational French interiors. His pieces for Maxalto eschew fleeting fads for comfort and conviviality, creating refined and inviting spaces.

The latest addition to Maxalto, although not a collection in the traditional sense, effortlessly integrates with the existing catalogue to reinforce Citterio’s signature aesthetic. The centrepiece of what the designer calls “ce n’est pas une collection [not a collection]” is the Arbiter modular seating system. With archetypal lines, oversized cushions and extra-large measurements, the Arbiter fits snugly as either a central island or a flush-against-the-wall seating arrangement, providing unadulterated comfort with its cleverly designed backrest.
Another iconic piece in the lineup is the Amoenus Soft swivel sofa, which is now available in a smaller dimension for bedrooms and compact living areas. With its strong personality and exceptional comfort, the Amoenus Soft sofa becomes the highlight of any space.

In terms of defining large spaces, Maxalto offers the multifunctional Privatus windscreen. This creation allows users to deliberately shape their surroundings while ensuring ample light permeates through the handmade fabric panels crafted from a blend of raffia and banana leaf.
Maxalto’s commitment to creating furniture that encapsulates the Parisian lifestyle through Citterio’s contemporary lens is unwavering. With Maxalto, one can capture the essence of Paris and bring it into their own living space, allowing the enchantment of the city to endure, even when far away.
In the Philippines, Maxalto is exclusively distributed by Focus Global Inc. Visit the showroom at GF / 10F, Twenty- Four Seven McKinley, 24th Street corner 7th Avenue, McKinley Parkway, BGC, Taguig.
