Filipinos are known for being family-oriented, which makes the dining room the heart of the home. This year, Rustan’s elevates the experience further by collaborating with Filipino designer icons to show different Christmas-themed tablescapes and trees that will enhance any yuletide gathering. Each setup is lovingly decorated, inviting family members of all ages to share memories over delicious meals. With the creative use of different products from Rustan’s, each setup was laid out according to a different theme.

Architect Gelo Mañosa and Bambi Mañosa-Tanjutco took the more traditional route. Their theme was a Simbang Gabi (Midnight Mass) setup incorporating local woven handicrafts and neutral dinnerware to create a peaceful breakfast table. They were greatly inspired by their father, National Architect Francisco “Bobby” Mañosa and their mother Denise, who hosted breakfast for family and friends after these early-morning Masses.

Taking inspiration from her beloved grandchild Mateo, this tablescape captures the nostalgia that makes every Christmas celebration feel special.
