With sofas, beds and living room layouts that speak of quiet luxury, Caracole’s latest showroom surges with furniture that exude warmth and elegance

Looking for a new, standout statement piece for your home? Caracole’s latest flagship showroom has opened at GH Mall, which features contemporary furniture designed with understated elegance and luxury in mind. Their curated collection is sure to add colour and character to your interiors.

Warm tones, sculpted forms and marble busts greet visitors at the entrance to Caracole’s showroom. The pieces are cleverly arranged with two purposes in mind: to guide you throughout the display space and to allow you to picture them as though they were in your own room. Front-and-centre are light coloured pieces with Greco-Roman design cues, such as the Whorl Raf swivel chair, the Eli accent table and the Semper 54 round dining table.

These design choices were intentional for Dexterton president and CEO Audrey Go Liu. “Caracole, as a brand, is really known for timeless pieces,” she explains. “But as time passed, they’ve kind of reverted to a more modern Italian aesthetic, wherein there’s a lot of curves and warm colours. And with this showroom, we really wanted to honour that shift.” Above all, Liu wanted guests to envision how they want to live—finding inspiration for entire rooms or foyers. Her favourite pieces hail from the Apatite collection, an assembly of gentle green hues and smooth contours. “I love green; from the colour alone, I’m sold,” she jokes. “The smooth lines, with the sheen and lacquer, it’s beautiful.”

This sentiment is echoed by Caracole vice president of international sales Philip Pfeifer, who says, “We’re innovative not only in the design of the furniture, but also the environment. So you see this in the arches, metallic curved walls and motifs that capture our current brand standards.” His home is also furnished with many pieces from the collection, but among them, the Bali chair stands out. His affinity for it stems from its velvet texture and its American walnut accent.

Indeed, the immersive experience has you stepping seamlessly from one living room to the next without it being jarring or abrupt. Every corner contains an eye-catching piece, but one made with restraint. This emphasis on quiet luxury is also at the core of Caracole: pieces stand out not because of loud language, but from the thoughtful touches one finds within each one.

“We want anyone who buys Caracole to have a personal connection to them, and really appreciate that what they have brings them joy,” Pfeifer says. “They’re not just buying furniture—they’re buying a piece of themselves; a piece that will be passed down.”
