“All successful entrepreneurs share a fearlessness of the unknown,” says Generation T honouree Kevin Johan Wong.

While that’s undoubtedly true, there are also countless more, less glamorous, commonalities—a hectic schedule, the constant travel, and the need to react to almost anything as it happens, to name just a few. All of which requires organisation and adaptability.

As his start-up Origami Labs takes its ORII smart ring to market while simultaneously developing the next iteration of wearable tech, Wong finds himself constantly travelling while also needing to stay in touch with Origami’s Hong Kong headquarters.

We asked Wong to show us what he carries around wherever he goes, in the hope it might offer a glimpse into his daily life and the challenges he faces as he enters that “unknown”.
