On January 17, members of the wider Gen.T community came together to build a house in rural Malaysia as part of our partnership with Epic Homes. 

Founded by Gen.T honouree John-Son Oei, social enterprise Epic Homes builds houses for indigenous families in underserved rural communities. 

Established in 2017, the partnership is one of several around the region under our Connect To Change campaign of CSR events. After raising RM100,000, enough to build two houses, we built the first home in 2018.

This month, we brought the community together to build the second property—Epic Homes' 106th house. Click through the gallery to see highlights of the weekend.
