Join the August 3 edition of Gen.T's Cloud Talk, where a marine biologist and a sustainable tourism entrepreneur will discuss the power of individual and local environmental solutions

This quote from singer-songwriter Jack Johnson may resonate with you: “An individual action, multiplied by millions, creates global change.” Thanks to the internet and social media, we have the ability to share our opinions, build our influence and question authority in our own ways. The power of the individual to create change has grown—and we know it.

Millennials and Gen Z, in particular, embrace individual responsibility and action. As a Deloitte survey published in 2021 highlighted, this value shapes these two generations’ approach to everything, from employment to the environment. And this has had widespread effects on industries and countries, from employers to retailers.

In the August 3 edition of our Cloud Talk webinar series, we invite a marine biologist and a sustainable tourism entrepreneur to discuss how individual and local solutions can significantly impact global issues, particularly climate change. They will also share about their entry into environmental advocacy, the challenges they face in advancing their cause and why climate change is as much a global issue as it is a personal one. This session is organised in partnership with Rolex.
