Our new podcast Crazy Smart Asia lifts the lid on the unexpected stories behind some of Asia's most successful young leaders

For the past few months, we’ve been working on a really exciting new project. It’s involved having conversations with some of Asia’s most disruptive young leaders to learn their stories.

The one thing we've learned? They're not the stories we thought we'd hear. Each leader took the path less travelled—and have the scars to prove it.

If you’re an entrepreneur, or anyone looking to find out how some of Asia’s boldest change-makers get it done, we made this podcast for you.

It's called Crazy Smart Asia. Over the eight episodes of season one, we’ll be talking to young leaders in our community to hear some of the crazy-smart (and sometimes just plain crazy) approaches they're taking to achieve success and tackle some of the biggest issues facing Asia today.

What we want to get to the bottom of is why these people have been able to achieve something that so many strive for and never reach. What makes them stand out?

Listen to Gen.T founder Tamara Lamunière and editor Lee Williamson discuss the upcoming season in the show's trailer.

Along the way, we'll also unpack the broader societal issues our Leaders of Tomorrow face in the course of their work, from female empowerment to the perils of big data.

Guests in the first season include entertainer Sukki Singapora, activist Melati Wijsen and Lucy Liu, founder of fintech unicorn Airwallex. They'll join five others in sharing their unexpected stories of passion, purpose and sacrifice.
