On July 25, past and current year honourees came together for a private networking dinner featuring Japanese BBQ, sake and wine

After the high of the Leaders of Tomorrow event in Singapore, past and current year honourees from the local Gen.T community came together again for an intimate Japanese barbecue dinner at Gyu San Japanese Sando and Charcoal Bar.

Situated at Forum The Shopping Mall, the restaurant offers premium A5 Wagyu, served on a binchotan grill.

The restaurant is helmed by chef Tomoyuki Kiga, who has more than a decade of culinary experience under his belt. The interior of the restaurant features an open-concept kitchen, where guests can watch chef Kiga and his team expertly grill meat and seafood before they are served to guests on their personal grill at the table.

The private dinner held on July 25 started off with a thin-crust mushroom pizza and a floral sake as a pairing. On the grill, succulent scallops, black tiger prawns, Wagyu beef hamburgs and Wagyu skewers were served. Guests also got to try a platter of the restaurant’s signature “sandos” featuring three types of patties: A5 Waygu Striploin, prawn and tamago. The meal was paired with refreshingly crisp sakes and a French Sauvignon Blanc.
