We celebrated the launch of the Gen.T List 2022 with our Taiwan community on October 4 with a sit-down dinner at the Regent Taipei
On October 4, we celebrated the 30 honourees from Taiwan on the Gen.T List 2022 with a private event at Regent Taipei.
Presented in partnership with our regional headline sponsor Credit Suisse and local sponsors BMW and Martell, the dinner saw the 2022 honourees mingling with past years' honourees as well as the Tribe, the industry experts that helped to nominate and vet candidates for the Gen.T List.
Matt Cheng, the founder and managing partner of Cherubic Ventures and a member of the Tribe in Taiwan, also took the stage to share his entrepreneurial experience and useful professional tips with the young founders in the room.
Also in the programme was the Gen.T x Credit Suisse Social Impact Awards, which has returned for the fourth year to recognise Gen.T honourees making a positive difference at scale using technology.
A total of 12 winners were selected this year from across Asia, with Anthony Lee of Lydia AI being the sole recipient from Taiwan. Lee's company uses patented artificial intelligence and health data to create a personalised health assessment app, helping to identify the risk of major diseases and provide tailored insurance recommendations to users.
Guests were kept entertained by DJ Leona, who spun her decks at the after-party.
