Xperience Restaurant

European   |   $ $ $ $   |   Raffles Place

An intriguing menu featuring dishes that are European in origin, but modified to suit the Asian palates

Located in the business district, Xperience is quite accessible to most offices—whether you’re looking something a little bit fancy for lunch or somewhere close by for dinner. The menu is quite intriguing; the dishes are European in origin, but “adapted to suit the Asian palate.” The tomato appetiser is truly decadent, with huge heirloom tomatoes imported from Holland. Paired with watermelon and dried meat, it’s a refreshing start to dinner after a long day at work. The lamb neck is a good choice for the main course, but the real star is the laksa spaghetti—it features al dente noodles in laksa sauce, topped with a generous serving of grilled tiger prawns, squid and mussels. For dessert, don’t miss out on the yuzu magnum and the green tea opera; neither is overly sweet and they’re both surprisingly good.

Tatler Tip(s)

• Come mid-week for a quick break from the workplace—Xperience is easily accessible and not too crowded.

• The laksa spaghetti is a must-try if you’re looking for something Asian-focused and unique to the restaurant.
