The bar's appeal stems from the convergence of three distinct figures: Richard McDonough, a “Mood Therapist” and pioneer in modern mixology; Hieu Long, an architect and brand strategist; and Cuong Nguyen, a seasoned hospitality operator. Just over a year after its launch, Workshop14 marked an impressive milestone by securing the #34 spot on the Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026 list, while also taking home the prestigious Three Cents Best New Opening Award 2026.
