Willow

$ $ $ $   |   Clarke Quay/ Boat Quay, Singapore

The Iberico presa (when available and on the menu) is highly recommended—perfectly cooked and seasoned to bring out all the porky goodness

Tucked along Hongkong Street, Willow reveals itself through a slim window’s glow—quietly beckoning diners into a cocoon of calm. Although executive chef Nicolas Tam was not in during our visit, the culinary team showed their mettle through a refined experience deserving of the restaurant’s accolades. Every plate demonstrates a level of maturity and restraint that lands with confidence rather than ostentation. Courses arrive with impeccable timing—each one a comfortable stride rather than a parade. The wine pairings are dialled in with just enough tension to spark curiosity, guided by a sommelier who is well-versed and warm. While a well-priced non-alcoholic pairing is available, the menu leans toward bottled classics. Ultimately, Willow offers well-executed dishes and service that settle diners into a quietly memorable evening.
