Wakuda, chef Tetsuya Wakuda’s second Singapore outpost, is a more accessible Japanese dining concept offering set, à la carte and omakase menus for lunch and dinner. Located at Marina Bay Sands, the restaurant blends modern refinement with traditional Japanese sensibilities and seasonal ingredients. The interiors are elegantly designed with warm wood textures and soft lighting, creating a space that feels sophisticated yet inviting. This atmosphere pairs well with signature dishes such as fresh yuba and uni served in a martini glass, grilled miso-marinated toothfish and sautéed Canadian lobster. A refined yet sizeable menu, featuring creative twists on sushi, tempura, yakimono and desserts, is complemented by an extensive wine and sake list and a sophisticated cocktail programme. Service is polished, warm and knowledgeable.
