Torno Subito, the vibrant Singapore outpost from Italian maestro Massimo Bottura, is a sun-drenched homage to 1960s Adriatic summers. Under the direction of executive chef Alessio Pirozzi, the kitchen balances Bottura’s signature whimsy with a deep reverence for the Emilia-Romagna region. While the plating is playful—featuring artful splatters evocative of the iconic “Oops, I Dropped The Lemon Tart”—the restaurant truly shines in its execution of the classics. The signature tortellini, bathed in a velvety, 36-month-aged parmigiano reggiano sauce, is a standout, as are the pizzas with their impeccably crisp, airy crusts. The dining room strikes a perfect chord between comfort and style, though the service, while professional, occasionally lacks the warmth of its surroundings.
