A dining experience that is fit for a “Maharaja”, with North Indian specialities that adopt traditional cooking styles

Tiffin Room is one of those rare heritage destinations where the experience begins the moment you cross the threshold. The menu leans toward classic North Indian comfort, executed with a level of refinement that honours the restaurant’s 1892 origins. The raan-e-Tiffin is a definitive standout; made from tender Welsh lamb leg, the meat is beautifully spiced and fragrant with ghee and malt vinegar before being finished with a signature tandoor char. For a more contemporary touch, the scallop coconut curry features succulent Hokkaido scallops in a sauce that is perfectly balanced and best enjoyed with plain basmati rice. To conclude the meal, the kesar rasmalai (saffron milk dumplings) really shines, while the mango falooda provides a light, nostalgic finish. To elevate the experience, pair your meal with a crisp house white or champagne—the acidity provides a perfect counterpoint to the rich, aromatic flavours.
