The Chinese Library
With its contemporary interior within the historical Tai Kwun, The Chinese Library presents Chinese fare with a modern revamp with Western influences
The Chinese Library’s dining hall appears to be no less than a work of art, nestled within the quaint premises of Tai Kwun. The high ceilings and lack of pillars create a sense of grandeur that complements the culinary proceedings. The shrimp and spinach dumplings with XO sauce and black garlic siu mai are lip-smackingly good; and the black truffle har gau and the steamed mandarin fish cheung fun with Sichuan peanut sauce are not to be missed either. Service is prompt and enthusiastic, ensuring that your plate is never empty and your glass is always full.
