Terrace Boulud by Mandarin Oriental

French   |   $ $ $ $   |   Central, Hong Kong

This rooftop brasserie brings Daniel Boulud’s refined French artistry to Hong Kong, pairing timeless elegance with a stunning harbour view

At Terrace Boulud, perched on the 25th floor of Landmark Prince’s building, Daniel Boulud has done something more interesting than simply transplanting his New York playbook. The menu, structured around four pillars: tradition, season, garden and voyage, feels less like a rigid framework and more like a license to roam, which is precisely why the DB x MO dim sum series (black truffle xiao long bao and tom yum siu mai) lands as a culinary conversation rather than a box-ticking gesture. The room, designed by Malherbe Paris with its warm wood curves and a striking green-onyx bar, evokes the romance of luxury train travel without veering into theme-park territory, while the rooftop terrace delivers those Victoria Harbour views with the kind of effortless grandeur that makes you forget you're staring at a skyline you've seen a thousand times.
