Founded by chef Masahiro Yoshitake, the first overseas branch of his three-Michelin-starred sushi bar is now housed in Mandarin Oriental The Landmark, Hong Kong. With ingredients flown in daily from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market and an exclusive selection of sakes you can’t find anywhere else in the city, Sushi Shikon is regarded as one of the best places for omakase. With design kept simple and minimalistic, it is a veritable shrine to the art of appreciating excellent Edomae-style sushi. At the counter is head chef Satoshi Tada, who hails from the Ginza flagship and has worked under Yoshitake’s guidance, leading the experience with a commitment to precision, tradition and artistry.
