This no-frills izakaya along Robertson Quay has been attracting diners with its superb sumiyaki (charcoal-grilled) dishes and extensive range of sake. Its skewers of meat, seafood and vegetables are simply but expertly seasoned and exude a tantalising smokiness. Choose from a dizzying array of more than 70 types of skewered items. Firm favourites include foie gras, kaki buta maki (oysters rolled with pork), asparagus buta maki (asparagus rolled in pork) and tebasaki (chicken wing).
