A creative dessert haven led by visionary pastry chef Will Goldfarb, Room4Dessert began as a tiny dessert bar in New York before finding its true home in Ubud. Eleven years on, it has evolved into a fully realized culinary destination, inspired by the Balinese banjar philosophy of community. Goldfarb offers not only a tasting menu of whimsical, flavour-forward desserts, but also a broader experience that includes the Academy learning space, the chic Powder Room pastry boutique, and the Shelter Island guesthouse. The complex radiates warmth through natural materials—terracotta tiles, reclaimed wood, and a lush micro-forest cultivated using the Miyawaki method, reflecting a deep commitment to regeneration and sustainability. Today, Room4Dessert is far more than a restaurant—it is a thriving community where gastronomy, education, and heartfelt hospitality converge in meaningful harmony.
